Ahausen was first mentioned in a
document in 1320. The place is located
in the northern Taunus at an altitude of
169m. (554 ft) The main sources of
income were agriculture, mining, as
Treidelschiffer or raftsmen. One of
the active clubs is the volunteer fire
department. I remember very well a New Year's Eve party in Ahausen incl.
Overnight. That could be done more often. Well, I mean that with the night.
Not with New Year's Eve.

mentioned. The district of Weilburg
is located in the northeastern Taunus
at an altitude of 202 ( 662 ft) to 245
meters ( 804 ft) above sea level. In the past, the sources of income were
mainly agriculture and iron ore mining. Worth seeing is especially the 1895

Gaudernbach is first mentioned in 1325 as
Gauderinbach. The place lies on the
southeast slope of the Westerwald in a
height of 200 m.( 656 ft) Most of the jobs
in the locality are construction companies,
butchers and fire and metalworking
companies. Since 1989 Germany's only
private construction machinery model
museum has been located in Gaudernbach.
And here it goes to the volunteer fire

Hasselbach is first mentioned in 1235 with
the place name Hasilibach. The place is
located in the Westerwald where the
Hohenstein 370.1 m ( 1214 ft) above sea level
is the highest point. In any case, Hasselbach
has a really great barbecue hut, which is also
very nice. And then I was allowed to spend my
confirmands leisure in Hasselbach. Of course,
the Hasselbach volunteer fire department should not be missing.

Hirschhausen is first mentioned in documents in
1397 and was found in 1466 as Herbishusen in
documents. The district is located in the
northeastern Taunus at an altitude between
248 ( 813 ft) to 298 m. ( 977 ft) above sea
level. The sources of income were mainly iron
ore mining in the surrounding iron ore mines.
Hirschhausen is also known by the Tiergarten
from the 16th century. During the Tiergarten in
the beginning for the supply of game for the yard. was thought to be here
today a variety of animals and very old trees. Of course there is also a
volunteer fire department.

Kirschhofen is first mentioned in 1363
as Kyrchschyrben. The place is located in
Weilburger Lahntalgebiet, on the edge
of the eastern Hintertaunus. I like to
remember the traffic jams on canoe
tours in the 1859 completed 34 m ( 111
ft) long and 5.34 m ( 17 ft) wide lock at
Kirschhofen. Above all, a volunteer must always be found who operates the
lock. Everyone is always waiting for someone else to squeeze out of their
craft to operate the lock.

Website Kubach
Kubach is parvulam cubach for the first
time in the charter of Otto III. from
27.12.1000 mention. The place is 215 m.
( 705 ft) above sea level. Excavations
from 1981 confirmed that there was a
settlement here 2,500 years ago.
Kubach became well-known far beyond
the national borders when in 1974 a crystal cave was discovered here.
It is the only crystal cave in Germany and can be visited after
conquering 347 steps at about 9 ° C (46,4°F) In addition to a barbecue
area in Kubach there are also restaurants in which one can be full.

Odersbach is first mentioned in 881
(earlier than Weilburg) as
Odinesbach in a document of the
monastery Prüm. Odersbach lies at
an altitude of 168 m. ( 551 ft) above
sea level, on the Westerwald side of
the Lahn. Sources of income used to
be agriculture, work in the basalt quarry Steinbühl and in the mine
conservation in Weilburg.
The district of Weilburg offers many opportunities for leisure
activities such. Walking, barbecuing in the barbecue hut, riding in the
equestrian center, camping with swimming pool (where I had to learn to
swim) and a youth hostel. Oh, I was also confirmed in Odersbach. So,
there are a lot of points of contact between me and Odersbach
including the disco High Chaparrel, parties and birthday parties.

Waldhausen is mentioned in 881
(earlier than Weilburg) in the
Golden Book of the Abbey of Prüm
as Mark Ualthusa. The district of
Weilburg is located on the
Westerwald side at an altitude of
190 m. ( 623 ft) above sea level and
has grown in the meantime by
building with the Westerwaldseite
of Weilburg together. Until 1960, the main source of income was
agriculture and mining (Waldhausen mine). Afterwards, several
businesses settled in an industrial and commercial area and created
new jobs. Waldhausen, in particular, has a good memory as the home of
disco Tia Maria. Since I spent a lot of nice evenings.
